Iñaki Etxeberria  established this 7 acre vineyard in 2001 with his wife Rosa Maria, it is one of only two certified organic in the Basque Country, Spain

35% Clairette, 25% Vermentino, 25% Grenache Blanc, 15% Roussanne

 


The Appellation
The small bayside Getariako Txakolina Appellation is only 400 acres. There are only 17 winegrowers registered with the DO 1990

We love wines that intrigue.
This Spanish wine is in a class of its own and really expands the range of palette. Razor clean and austere, bracingly fresh, with highlights of lime and apricot peel, crunchy stones and minerals. We love this wine with Iberico ham.
