NV Fuso +Crotin Vino Rosso Semplice ma non Banalé
Tasting Notes
A blend of many undersung grapes in Piedmont, the Semplice Ma Non Banalé is a rustic Italian red through and through. Opening with clear notes of red and purple flowers with lots of blackberry and cherry fruit, the palate is rich and mouth-filling, bringing earthen elements to proceedings, along with a robust, food-friendly finish.
Food Pairing
A wine that will sing next to food, pair the Semplice along heartier, meatier courses like a grilled steak with herb butter, a classic ragù over pappardelle, or a wild mushroom risotto.

2022 Weinhof Bauer-Pöltl Anima
Tasting Notes
With their location in the South of Burgenland, Bauer-Pöltl makes some of our favorite red wines, not just in Austria, but all of Europe. This wine opens with rounded notes of ripe blue and blackberry, along with a hint of tart cherry. On the palate, the wine is full and lush, with generous fruit weight, a layer of mineral complexity, and bright, tense acidity.
Food Pairing
A super barbecue wine, the versatile Anima will go well with smoked chicken, lamb skewers, and baba ghanouj made from coal-fired eggplant.

2023 Domaine des Terres Dorées Morgon
Tasting Notes
A serious wine made from a venerable Beaujolais grower, the Terres Dorées Morgon opens with tense notes of dark cherry fruit, wet stone, and raspberry, while the palate confirms these fruits, and adds several subtle layers, finishing with lots of crisp acidity, and firm, present tannin.
Food Pairing
Fattier meat and beaujolais are just made for each other, and the Morgon will be superb besides grilled pork chops, dried sausages, and even a ribeye steak with roasted potatoes.

2023 Santa Colomba Sar do Née
Tasting Notes
From far in Italy's Northwest, the Sar do Née shows how dynamic the Chardonnay grape can be. A bit quiet on the nose, with distinct mineral and ripe citrus notes, and a soft herbal element, the palate is glassy and mouth-filling, with generous citrus, and a brisk, mineral finish.
Food Pairing
Super on its own, the weight of the Sar do Née makes it a lovely match for seafood - pair with a classic shrimp cocktail, crab cake, or a filet of white fish with lemon and butter.

2022 Domaine du Grand Chêne Les Cailleries
Tasting Notes
Although Muscadet may be renowned for its directness and simplicity, wineries like Domaine du Grand Chêne are seeking to tease out more nuance, weight, and seriousness from this once-humble wine. The "Les Cailleries" opens with rich notes of ripe citrus, and a touch of anisette spice, moving to a palate with real breadth and complexity, and a bright, food-friendly finish.
Food Pairing
A perfect wine to pair with richer seafood preparations like lobster thermidore or smoked fish dip, the Les Cailleries has enough richness to go toe to toe with other, richer proteins too, like a pork shoulder steak with mustard cream sauce, or for vegetarians, a pan-seared cabbage with tahini.

Food Pairing
Perfect for sipping and contemplating on its own, the Fumée Claire will match well with bright seafood and vegetable appetizers like crab cocktail, scallop tartare, and marinated leeks.
