The Oil

Region

Puglia, Southern Italy

Varietal

100% Coratina Olives

Notes

Beautiful fruit with clean, subtle earth and smooth finish.

Story

Picked by hand from antioxidant rich, organic Coratina olives, this olive oil is milled 12 hours after harvest at an extraction temperature of exactly 23oC. The oil has particularly low acidity (0.2%) and is not industrially refined or blended with any other oils.

The delicate process yields a clean Italian oil, bottled in a dark container to preserve freshness. We bring you its latest harvest and vintage.

The Wine

2015 Santalba Cotas Altas Rioja

Labs

0.2 g/L sugar, 12% alcohol, 40 ppm sulfur

Notes

Smooth red fruit with slight earthy notes

Story

This blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha from Rioja has a uniquely smooth elegance. Everything is done by hand, from picking the grapes to barreling the wine. A beautiful, clean way to experience the power of Rioja.

2016 La Galoche Beaujolais

Labs

0.6 g/L sugar, 12.1% alcohol, 15 ppm sulfur

Notes

Fresh and tart red fruit, clean palate, refreshing acid

Story

Born from the clay limestone soils of Beaujolais’ southern tip, this 100% Gamay reminds us why we love Gamay: drinkability. Its grapes grow on 25 year old vines and the wine ages in cement for 9 months. Wine purity on perfect display.

2015 Stoka Teran Kras

Labs

0.6 g/L sugar, 12.1% alcohol, 12 ppm sulfur

Notes

Deep iron-rich mineral accented by bright red fruits

Story

This Slovenian wine is born from the fertile, iron rich soils on the banks of the Danube River. The local red varietal - Teran - is on full display, growing on 20 year old vines. It’s slovenian terroir at its finest.

2015 Sarrazin Bourgogne Aligoté

Labs

0.1 g/L sugar, 12.5% alcohol, 66 ppm sulfur

Notes

Fuller body, fleshy white fruit, thirst quenching palate

Story

As a cousin of Chardonnay, the Aligoté grape in this Burgundy white shines with deep flavor. It’s grown on 30 year old vines and bottled without any filtration, serving as a true expression of French terroir. Delicious with seafood and light fare.

2015 Tetramythos Roditis Peloponnese

Labs

0.4 g/L sugar, 12.1% alcohol, 62 ppm sulfur

Notes

Bright acid and crisp minerality graced by floral hints

Story

Crafted from the pink skinned Greek grape, Roditis, this refreshing white exemplifies the Mediterranean terroir of southern Greece. Higher altitudes, a cool sea breeze, and mineral driven soils come together in this organic wine. An elegant way to taste place.
