Artisan Lambrusco
Artisan Lambrusco
From Emilia-Romagna comes one of the most rare, dynamic wine styles on the globe: our first ever artisan Lambrusco.
The farmers of this fertile region have a history of producing delectable treats – Parmigiano Reggiano, Mortadella, Prosciutto di Parma, and Vinegar Balsamico were all born here.
Centuries ago, they also gave birth to a magical sparkling red wine called Lambrusco.
Audacious as it is effervescent, these rossos are also in rare company: some of the only Lambruscos in the world to be organically grown, sugar free, low in sulfites, and stunningly delicious.

The Wines...

2022 Quarticello Ciòkë
Tasting Notes
A proper, old-school Lambrusco, this blend of Lambrusco Maestri and Lambrusco Grasparossa is fermented on its skins for one week before being transferred to bottles to initiate the secondary fermentation. Earthy, full-fruited, and bone-dry, it opens with notes of ripe raspberry and cherry alongside sassafras, moving to a palate with robust, food-friendly tannin designed to pair with the rich food of Emilia.
Food Pairing
An ideal pairing partner beside a plate of cold cuts and salumi like mortadella and prosciutto di parma, the Neromaestri will pair well with a rich ragù over pappardelle, or roasted mushrooms over polenta.

2023 Quarticello Ciòkeda
Tasting Notes
A lighter, modern style of Lambrusco, the Lambrusco Salomino grapes here spend just one night on their skins to give this wine its brilliant ruby-pink robe. Opening with notes of blood orange, unripe cherry, and oregano before moving to a vibrant, lively palate characterized by superb freshness, and drinkability.
Food Pairing
A lovely aperitif Lambrusco, the Ciòkeda will do well beside a cheese plate, a bitter green salad with green strawberries, or a grilled chicken thigh with olive oil and lemon.
