Quinard
Located in the quiet hills of Bugey high above the Rhône river, Caveau Quinard is the work of four generations of farmers. With Burgundy in clear view, some of the best (and most underrated) Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the world comes from the bucolic vineyards of Bugey. These alpine vines, organically farmed since 2009, help the Domaine achieve their modest goal of growing healthy grapes that produce wines with crystalline purity and honest craftsmanship.

Cecilia Zucca
Cecilia Zucca makes some of our favorite, bold, rustic, Italian reds. Her lively, organic vineyard perched five hundred meters above sea level in northern Italy gives life to delicious fruit from Barbera, Albarossa, Pinot Noir, Viognier, and Riesling vines. The vineyard, which even boasts a small herd of Fassone (one of the world’s finest beef cows), is a picture of biodiversity. The minimal intervention wines reflect these superb climatic conditions with pure fidelity.

Weinhof Bauer-Pöltl
Kathi and Daniel Bauer-Lang, a young couple with strong ideals, make a variety of reds that stun us with their power at one turn, and their subtlety and excellence at another. Long eschewing the use of herbicides, fungicides, and fertilizers, the couple have gone a step further, and introduced insect hotels, a system of cover crop rotation, and planted many trees which help to strengthen the richness and diversity of the local fauna and flora.

I find that as time goes on I’m enjoying the wine less. It seems the tastes are changing. Is there any specific reason for this?
Was this helpful?Dry Farm Wines7/15/25Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We’re truly sorry to hear you’ve been enjoying the wines less lately.
We haven’t made any changes to our winemaking approach or sourcing, but taste perception can definitely shift over time for a few reasons, like changes in your own palate, vintage variations, or even what foods you’re pairing with the wines.
We’d love to help you find selections that you’ll really enjoy. Could you tell us more about the specific flavors or styles you’ve been noticing (or missing) lately? That way, we can customize your Membership just for you.
Thanks again for being such a valued member. We’re here to help make your wine experience the best it can be.
