The hard climate and poor soils render natural farming virtually impossible. Land is expensive, so artisans are crowded out by large companies. Not to mention – balanced, classic taste without any sugar is a nearly impossible feat.

Champagne Club features a singular cuvée of rare artisan Champagne delivered in three-bottle allocations once per quarter.

This quarter, our featured cuvée is the NV Champagne Schreiber Essentiel Extra Brut. A blend of three vintages (2019, 2020, and 2021), this is a Champagne that elegantly splits the difference between a broad, oaked, rich style, and a steely, mineral expression.

NV Champagne Schreiber Essentiel Extra Brut

Bright and precise, this Extra Brut Champagne showcases a vibrant profile of lemon zest, crisp orchard fruit, and striking mineral notes. Subtle hints of brioche and honeyed apple add depth to the fresh, steely character, while the palate remains clean and energetic with lively acidity and a refreshing finish. Elegant in its restraint, it offers a classic, lean expression of Champagne with excellent freshness and finesse.

A natural match for oysters, shellfish, sushi, and fresh seafood. Its crisp structure also pairs beautifully with goat cheese, light appetizers, and delicate fried dishes.
