Tasting Notes
Although Courège-Longue's Family Reserve may be farmed on soils outside of Bordeaux proper, the attentiveness of that farming, and the intentional, hands-off winemaking here result in a wine that could rival any Bordeaux house. Opening with vintage aromatics of black currant, pencil shavings, vanilla, and a touch of cigar box, the palate introduces these same elements but with great depth, nuance, and softness.
