Tasting Notes
Franciacorta is most famous for its delicious bubbly wines made in the style of Champagne, mineral, yeasty, and classically-oriented. But don't sleep on the still wines from here - they carry that same mineral streak, and the whites, like this great Chardonnay, exhibit the quality of winemaking here in spades. A touch of nutty caramelization coming from oxidation melds beautifully with a fresh-struck match quality coming from reduction, together creating a wine of true Burgundian styling. There is a bit more fruit here too, which just makes this wine more of a one-bottle party - enjoy it with your fanciest friends, or at a casual picnic, it will delight wherever
