The inherent weight of Fiano makes it a great foil to a number of different kinds of dishes - creamy chicken or pork dishes like pot pie, or sausage and leek pastas will do very very well, while many rich seadood items will work fabulously too.
Tasting Notes
Fiano may not be a household name here, but in Italy, it's a grape synonymous with floral, delicate wines from the South, and this wine is just that. White flowers, and some fleshy white fruits greet the nose, while the palate is glassy and mineral, with some real fruit weight at the core. Its a summery wine that will continue to develop in the bottle into something more serious and savory.
