This is a lovely aperitif wine, but the weight here can also stand up to richer seafood preparations, try it with salmon and beurre blanc, a classic New England clam chowder, or a buttery shrimp scampi. Richer veggies and more neutral fruits will also do very well - try it with some prosciutto and melon for a France meets Italy tasting!
Tasting Notes
This is a different kind of Bordeaux Blanc (or in this case, Bergerac Blanc) - rather than combining the brightness and zip of Sauvignon Blanc with the richness and weight of Sémillon, this wine swaps the Sauvignon for Muscadelle, which brings some lovely florals to the party. Aromatic and appealing with rich stone fruit notes, and a touch of tropicality, it's the definition of a crowd-pleaser, pair with larger gatherings and good times.
