In our subjective view, whole roasted chicken is the best pairing for White Burgundy, although this wine is well-suited for decadent seafood preparations, like Lobster Theremador or Coquilles St. Jacques, or even light pork dishes.
Tasting Notes
What is there to say about Burgundy Chardonnay that hasn't already been said? This wine, coming from the Côte Macconnais shows its pedigree from the very first sniff, with light intimations of citrus fruit, and dried straw emerging from the glass, evoking a rich history of precisely-made Chardonnay. The palate is full, but not overbearing, and a kiss of oak rounds everything out very nicely - a special wine to be enjoyed with close friends, it will make any night a celebration in itself.
