Tasting Notes
Mollard is an extraordinarily rare grape endemic to the tiny Hautes-Alpes appellation. Spicy, dark-fruited, and almost ethereal in its lightness, it's a wine that benefits from being made in a low alcohol, less extracted style. Pure red strawberries and a touch of herbal spiciness greet the nose, and are confirmed by the palate. An excellent late afternoon sipper great for beginning a celebration.
