Steak and Chimichurri, Char-grilled Artichokes and Mint, Anchovies and Parsely, and any combination of strong flavor and herbs will do quite well with the Grand Bonheur.
Tasting Notes
Every grape has it's own slew of flavors that a winemaker can express using certain techniques, and Cabernet Franc is possibly best known for the flavor of green bell pepper that comes from a group of chemical compounds called Pyrazines. When a wine is too laden with this it can be overbearing, but in the case of the Grand Bonheur, this transforms into light intimations of fresh herbs like mint and green peppercorn. When combined with the darkness, softness, and graphite-esque minerality of ths wine, you can see why they've planted this grape in the Loire for more than five centuries.
