The lightness of the fruit here makes it a lovely match for more neutral dishes - think quiche, creamy bisques and soups, or roasted veggies with aoili. The wine will also adapt well to simpler seafood preparations like shrimp grilled over an open flame with lemon and parsley.
Tasting Notes
A great example of how yummy and unique white blends from Alsace can be, the "Printemps" (meaning "Spring" in French), is floral and delicate with lovely light mineral and even lemon curd elements on the palate. This is one of those wines that has a light "honied" quality to the fruit, even though it's totally dry. A classy, calling card bottle from one of our favorite places for white wine the whole globe over.
