Tasting Notes
While Chenin and Sauvignon have joint claims to the throne of the Loire's great white grape, Chardonnays from the region can be quite nice too. This bottle from one of the Loire's historic estates, opens with a distinct mineral nose along with lemon and lime. The palate is glassy and mouth-filling, any Chardonnay-lover will fall for this lovely wine.
