The possibilities are really endless for pairing with a wine like this - it has enough body and weight to stand up to something like a burger, but will do plenty well next to a simply-grilled side of salmon with a lemon and caper sauce. A pork chop with a little apple mostarda sounds like a fabulous dinner idea suited for this kind of wine.
Tasting Notes
This is a category of wine that we love, it's not quite a red wine, but it's almost there, falling in the category of dark rosé. The nose here has some lovely notes of ripe apple skins, along with a candied fruit element that is very inviting. The palate is a bit less expressive, but its straightforward nature makes it no less delicious or refreshing - a great rosé not just for summer but for all seasons.
