Tasting Notes
When thinking about the Côte Roannaise and Gamay St. Romain, just think Beaujolais and Gamay with a little bit more scruff and character. The wines from this region show their rustic terroir along with the same charm that we've grown to love from classic Beauj. This is a wine for the late summer and early fall, with lots of earthen and green elements to compliment the typical juiciness of gamay - after one sip, you'll see why there's a new spotlight on this up-and-coming region in the south of France.
