Cabernet Franc just likes meat, period. The herbal side of the wine complements a piece of steak similar to how the rosemary, thyme, and garlic does in a classical butter baste. Break this out with your finest cuts. It also makes a great partner against richer vegetarian fare like mushroom risotto, vegetarian stews, or even something like shakshuka!
Tasting Notes
When we began imagining the label for this wine, we remembered hearing stories of how the Grosbois brothers, the gentlemen behind this label, used to picnic and spend summer days rowing down the Loire river. This is a quintessential 'Loire' red wine. Made from perfectly ripe Cab Franc grapes, it has some decadent dark and black fruits on the palate, along with a touch of herbal green, and unified structure with plenty of tannin and acidity. It's a wine that can be enjoyed on the coolest of days or winding down after a summer afternoon in the sun. HERBACEOUS COMPOSED RICH JUICY STRUCTURED
