Tasting Notes
Veronique Guenther-Chereau is The Woman of Muscadet, having taken over the estate from her father some years ago, and she has labored to write her own story in her corner of Muscadet. Known for her wines of extended lees contact (the spent yeasts provide wines with richness and toasty qualities), this is the baby of her lineup, and shows just how much talent she has. With richness and depth, but also playful floral notes, it’s an example of the one new path for Muscadet, and we can’t wait to see more.
