Tasting Notes
Crémant is one of those things that can be very hit and miss - it basically refers to any traditional-method French sparkling wine made outside of Champagne, and has it's own region designation. Of the Crémant regions, Alsace, is definitely one of the best. The cool climate means that grapes never get too ripe, and this Blanc de Blanc of Chardonnay definitely drinks a lot like Champagne. With some lovely bready, caramel, butterscotch notes, extremely small, persistent bubbles, and a refreshing acidity, it's a celebration wine, no doubt, and will make any evening a party immediately.
