A Chenin of this kind will do excellently with all kinds of seafood, particularly some richer preparations like Oysters Rockefeller, Coquilles St. Jacques, or Lobster Thermidore. Seasonal roasted veggies or smoky baba ghanouj will be more than delightful, too!
Tasting Notes
There's a lovely minerality to Chenin Blanc that we find ourselves coming back to again and again. This example, from Château de Parnay, has the grape’s signature wet stone quality, along with some sweet citrus fruit, a touch of peach, and an invigorating acidity.
