Tasting Notes
Sauvignon Blanc these days usually tends towards one of two poles. It's either racy, crisp, and a bit underripe like the wines of Sancerre, or it's lush and expressive, à la the wines of New Zealand. While this wine comes from around the birthplace of the grape, near Bordeaux, it certainly showcases more of this New Zealand style, with bright green gooseberries on the nose and a bit of passionfruit.
