A great candidate for a red aperitif, this low-alcohol red will do best alongside lighter appetizers and simople proteins. A tuna or salmon tartare, lamb skewers with a mint chimichurri, or a shaved brussel sprout salad with lots of cheese will all be terrific.
Tasting Notes
A classic "rustic" wine, the Cume do Avia Tinto opens with lovely nots of violets and hard herbs along with ripe plums, while the palate is brisk, lively, and approachable with minimal tannins.
