A fabulous pairing for all varieties of poultry, this fun and fresh wine is lovely as all get out on its own too, while also serving as a great match to salty, flavorful fare like tacos, burgers.
Tasting Notes
While Beaujolais Nouveau is famous for being released the week before Thanksgiving, and for being light, fresh, and meant to be enjoyed very young, there is a small cohort of Beaujolais growers throwing a bit more of their weight into their Nouveaus, and this is a great example of one of those wines. With a classic nose of ripe red berry fruits, and a light and juicy structure bolstered by just a lick of tannin, this is still a wine to be enjoyed young, but it will stay charming into 2023 without issue.
