Pairing
When pairing this wine, treat it like a Muscadet. It's a light, lean wine that will shine with raw and cooked seafood, such as oysters on the half shell, lightly poached white fish with butter, or grilled lobster.
Tasting Notes
Bourboulenc is a fun little grape! As one of the thirteen legal varieties in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, it's historically been used as a blending grape to add acidity and citrus flavors to white wine. However, when made on its own, it can be made into a delightful, straightforward sipper. This wine from the South of France has lovely aromas of white flowers, lemon peel, and a whiff of smoke, with a palate that is zippy and bright. STRAIGHTFORWARD RARE BRIGHT CITRUSY FOOD-FRIENDLY
