Tasting Notes
Valpolicella is quickly becoming one of our favorite red wine producing areas in Italy, as the wines are always aromatic, fresh, and pure, with a core of red fruit that reminds us a bit of Pinot Noir. This offering opens up with precise green, stemmy notes, pure red fruits, and a whiff of earth and clay. The palate is bright, with a young strawberry character, followed by some sandy, present tannin and a savory streak that makes it a great candidate for pairing.
