A great wine to enjoy and contemplate on its own, the Amfòra is also a lovely match for poultry and game. Duck à l'Orange à l'Orange Wine, anyone? Roasted fall veggies or richer seafood dishes like Brandade would also be perfect.
Tasting Notes
When you look at the color of this wine, you may say to yourself, “I thought this was supposed to be orange.” Because several of the white grapes involved in this blend are actually pink, the skin contact gives the wine a slightly pink hue, but on the nose and palate, this is as orange as it gets! Lots of citrus flowers and true orange creamsicle on the nose, with a palate that moves to dried orchard fruit and spice. Delicious and perfect for those that have yet to take the orange plunge.
