Nothing goes better with some rosé than nothing at all, and we'd recommend enjoying this bottle as an aperitif above all. The light fruit here will also add subtlety and intrigue to lighter salads, and raw vegetable preparations, and leaner fish dishes, as well.
Tasting Notes
As the weather starts to get warmer, our taste in rosé tends to migrate to the South, the Southern hemisphere, that is. Because South African grapes are grown on the opposite end of the earth as Europe, the wines are ready to go about six months earlier, and we can get our fix for fresh and fruity rosé. This wine, from one of the region's pioneering young growers, is full of fresh effusive strawberry, while the palate is zippy and super dry - a seriously delightful wine.
