Pinot Noir is THE terroir grape, bar none, and every varietal wine made from this grape wears its history on its sleeve. This red from the second-most northerly appellation for Pinot in France is a subtle dance between earth, fruit, and mineral. Opening with pure notes of ripe cherry, and a whiff of forest floor, the palate is direct, pure red fruit combined with more wet stone. It's a wine for both sharing and quiet contemplation.
