Pairing
A white with florals typically does very well with more plain fare, or its opposite. This wine is tailor-made to pair with a spicy Thai or Indian curry, but will show its own virtues best beside simply sautéed market vegetables or cauliflower purée.
Tasting Notes
While we love Grüner Veltliner for its brisk acidity, slaty mineral elements, and ability to pair well with veggies, sometimes the wines can be a bit too austere and bright. The Hoch Family have added a bit of Gelber Muskateller to this wine that brings some lovely florals, as well as a bit of palate heft to the Grüner - a true masterclass in white blending.
