Tasting Notes
Frappato is one of those varieties we keep coming back to, for its freshness, it's delicacy, and it's uniqueness - it's only really grown on the sunny slopes of Siciliy. This example, from the esteemed farmers at Horus, opens with classic notes of seabreeze and ripe raspberries, moving to a palate with superb mineral tension, a superb depth of fruit, and ticklingly-tannic finish.
