Tasting Notes
A great wine to point out the virtues of a white blend, this bottle from Meinklang takes three classic Austrian grapes and combines them to excellent effect. Opening with a nose that intermingles the nervy, pepperiness of Grüner Veltliner with the effusive florals of Muscat, the result is a pleasant, citrusy, and fragrant with white pepper and yellow flowers. The palate is brisk, yet the Welshriesling and Muscat bring some texture and oomph to complement Grüner's natural acidity.
