Germany is quite rightly celebrated as one of the THE great white wine producing countries in the world - with it's long sunny days, balanced by very cool nighttime and winter temperatures, the grapes here are able to ripen slowly, giving them greater depth, fruitiness, and complexity, while keeping them fresh. This wine from biodynamic pioneer, Weingut Im Zwölberich, opens with classic Pinot Gris notes of white peach and citrus, while the palate is long, lively, and accented by a unique, and delicious note of unripe strawberry.
