There's nothing better with a ripe Chardonnay than a classic roast chicken, but the Schwedhelm will do very well beside some other rich proteins like seared scallops with beurre blanc, or whole roasted cauliflower with zhug and tahini.
Tasting Notes
Coming from one of Germany's most historic winegrowing towns in Zellertal, this Chardonnay brings some real Burgundian richness to the party. Opening with vintage notes of fresh-struck match, and sweet lemon meringue, the palate is mouth-coating and full, with the same distinctive mineral backbone, and tense acidity.
