Varietal Xarel-lo is one of the newest trends in Spanish wines (it's typically either the primary or secondary grape in Cava), and after tasting the Rey de la Montaña, it'll be clear why. Opening with distinct notes of sweet citrus and evident minerality, the palate is both brisk and round, with the same citrus fruit, but also a bit of white peach, concluding with a bright, stony finish.
