Pairing
This rosé’s depth and minerality make it a versatile partner at the table. Pair with grilled lamb skewers, wild mushroom tart, or charred eggplant with tahini. It also shines with spiced lentil dishes, aged cheeses, or Provençal-style ratatouille. A great companion to both rustic and refined fare.
Tasting Notes
This striking Rosé from Domaine Rouge-Bleu hails from the southern Rhône Valley and is crafted from 70% Grenache and 30% Carignan, grown in mineral-rich soils. Darker in hue than most rosés, it opens with aromas of ripe cherry and a subtle lift of reductive minerality that recalls wet stone and schist. On the palate, it is bold and focused, showing snappy tart cherry and darker berry tones wrapped in a textured, slightly richer mouthfeel. Medium acidity keeps it vibrant and food-friendly, while the rocky undertones add a grounding depth. A serious rosé with structure, soul, and a savory edge.
