A great burger wine, this will go well with lighter red meats like pork and ground beef preparations, along with flavor-packed chicken dishes (think blackened), or homey veggies like ratatouille.
Tasting Notes
Some wines just work, even if they may be a bit unique. This bottle coming from Grüber Roschitz has a darkness to the fruit on the palate and the aroma that's very appealing, along with some substantial zip, and earthy elements, as well. This is, for us, quite similar to some of the higher-end Beaujolais that we bring in, we love those wines, and we love this one too, and we think you'll find it quite pleasant.
