A fantastic example of how expressive true, organic Bordeaux can be, the Moulin de Peyronin opens with distinctive notes of red and black currant, along with just a kiss of vanilla and tobacco, before descending to a palate that's at once rich and refreshing, with the same dark currants along with just a touch of hard, savory herbs.

An ideal companion for a steak straight off the grill dressed with chimichurri or Maitre d'hotel butter, the Moulin de Peyronin will sing beside basically anything else of the grilled variety from mushrooms, to eggplant, to pork ribs.
