Tasting Notes
Bertrand and Vincent Marchesseau are two men of ideas - the Utopie is the culmination of years of work to have a more environmentally-friendly wine package. It's a lighter bottle, without a wasteful capsule, and saves ink by cutting into the label itself. Lucky for them, the wine is a Utopia in itself! A softer, more supple example of Cabernet Franc, it opens with notes of purple flowers, and fresh red fruit, while the palate is soft and generous with just a kiss of tannin, and memorable finish.
