"Crunchy" may seem like an odd word to describe a wine, but it's become a very popular descriptor of wines with lots of fruit weight, relatively high acidity, and minor tannins: Beaujolais, Dolcetto, and some Cab Francs all fall into this category. With this wine, that name says it all, opening with bouncy red fruits, and a soft, supple palate with a touch of earth.
