A rare combination of rustic and elegant, this characterful red from the South of France could suit many different palates. Opening with soft notes of ripe cherry and plum, the palate entry leaves an impression with a lovely fruit weight, and an earthen quality, while the finish is long, a touch grippy, and smooth in the end.
