A Sangiovese that shows it's strength from first whiff, the Cantine Guidi opens with notes of black pepper, dried leaves, and bold red and black cherry, the palate is mouth-filling and vibrant, with layers of earth, and berries to be teased out. With a long, grippy finish, the Ruggente is a superb wine for food pairing.
