Tasting Notes
A great example of a red blend made in a way that makes the wine greater than the sum of its parts, this 50/50 Cinsault and Merlot utilizes the bright, hedonistic fruitiness of Cinsault, and combines it with the body, and length and body of Merlot. Opening with a charming touch of fresh herbs, star anise, ripe strawberry, and a bit of graphite, the palate is full and generous, with the same soft red fruits, and a lengthy, supple finish.
