Tasting Notes
We love all varieties of Austrian red wine, but most are more bright and summery than brooding and suited for Fall weather. That is, except the wines of Bauer-Pöltl. The Roter Reif opens with notes of sweet dark plums and spices, while the palate is mouth-filling and rich, with great roundness, and a lingering lick of tannin in the finish.
