The Wines...

2024 Michel Guignier Beaujolais
Tasting Notes
Certainly a jewel of a bottle from one of our favorite places for wine on the planet, the Amethyste is dark and structured, with a superb sense of tension between the tannin, the acidity, and the fruit weight of the wine. A sensational example of Gamay from a tried-and-true grower, enjoy with those close to you, and new friends you're looking to impress.
Food Pairing
A darker, tenser Beaujolais like the Amethyst will work brilliantly with more serious fare: venison with a fruit-based reduction, steak au poivre, or coq au vin will all be perfect, along with heartier vegetarian dishes like less spicy curries or pastas.

2024 Mick and Jeanine Craven Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc
Tasting Notes
Hailing from the renowned Stellenbosch region, the 2024 Mick and Jeanine Craven Chenin Blanc is a vibrant showcase of what South African Chenin Blanc can offer. This wine greets the palate with a lively burst of ripe lemon and green apple, while the wine's pronounced acidity cuts through the fruitiness with precision, adding a layer of complexity and ensuring a long, crisp finish.
Food Pairing
The wine's vibrant acidity and fruit-forward nature make it an excellent match for grilled fish or a ceviche - for a vegetarian option, a green apple and walnut salad with a light vinaigrette dressing would mirror the wine's crisp fruitiness.

2024 Chateau Landra Pulchra Durmiens
Tasting Notes
Opening with distinct notes of farm-fresh blueberries, dark flowers, and just a whiff of smoke, the Pulchra Durmiens really comes alive on the palate, with the same blue fruit present, but also more raspberry, and some meaty Syrah elements. With tense acidity, and a firm, food-friendly finish, it's a wine that will do well with a variety of fare.
Food Pairing
The bold Pulchra Durmiens is an ideal pairing partner - big enough to stand up to the meatiest proteins, but light and expressive enough to let more delicate fare shine, it will be ideal beside roast poultry or pork with lots of spices, seared red meat with wild mushrooms, or a meaty vegetarian preparation like mushroom risotto or bolognese.

2024 Domaine Rouge Bleu Fleurs qui s'envolent
Tasting Notes
A wine comprised of some thirteen varieties planted in the rocky, ancient soils of Saint-Cécille, this wine is undoubtedly bringing a lot to the party. Opening with a heady mix of white flowers, shelled nuts, and pure mineral energy, the palate is full of pure peachy fruit, and finishes with zip - an excellent example of a classy white from the Southern Rhone.
Food Pairing
Though this wine would be great to sip on its own, it'll be spectacular beside richer seafood preparations like Bouillabaise or Lobster Thermidor.

2024 Domaine de la Ville Rouge Au Pied de la Source
Tasting Notes
An extremely rare low alcohol cuvée, from the intrepid Domaine de la Ville Rouge, the "Au Pied de la Source" delivers on the trademark aromas of Syrah, and Pinot Noir, while presenting a palate that's at once fruity, but deeply complex. Opening with notes of wild blueberries and black raspberries, along with just a whiff of smoke, the palate is full-fruited, with a deep mineral streak, and barely-there tannins.
Food Pairing
A simultaneously flavorful and ethereal red like this will do well with meaty appetizers and small bites, like grilled lamb kabob or kibbeh with tahini, a hearty mushroom soup, or a pan-seared, skin-on chicken breast.

2023 Domaine Priscus Bourgogne Blanc
Tasting Notes
A superb example of White Burgundy, the Priscus opens with distinctive notes of freshly-struck match, ripe meyer lemon, and just a hint of vanilla before moving to a glassy, balanced palate that expertly balances fruit, minerality, and brightness.
Food Pairing
There simply is nothing better than White Burgundy and roast chicken, and the Priscus certainly fulfills that promise, but will be delightful beside richer seafoods like seared scallops and beurre blanc, or a fall ratatouille.
