2022 Quarticello Mole
Tasting Notes
A very unique wine made from one of Emilia's most prized white grapes, the highly unique Malvasia di Candia, the La Mole opens with distinctive aromas of pink peppercorns, chamomile flower, and ripe apricot before moving to a soft, subtle palate with the same fruit, and just a light lick of food-friendly tannin.
Food Pairing
This is a wine made in perhaps Italy's most culinarily-oriented region, Emilia-Romagna, the La Mole will pair well with delicate seafood like a shrimp tartare or citrus-spiked scallop crudo, or heartier fare like roasted duck with mission figs, or roasted fall squash with chimichurri.

2023 Intervalo Curtimenta
Tasting Notes
A wine that will entrance with one glance at its pronounced orange robe, the Intervalo Curtimenta takes one of Portugal's most traditional wine styles, the Curtimenta, and dovetails it with contemporary, fruit-driven winemaking. The result is an orange wine with aromas of tangerine skin, fresh pine needles, and a basket of farm-fresh peaches before moving to a palate with pronounced back-to-front tannin, the same aromatic density, and a crisp and lively finish begging for something delicious to complement it.
Food Pairing
A fantastic wine for pairing, the Curtimenta will do superb beside flavorful seafood like fritto misto, or sole meunier, but has enough muscle to match heftier protein like piri piri chicken or roast pork with grilled peaches.

2022 Le Fief Noir Contact

Chenin Blanc is a grape that shows great promise in orange applications, creating wines of the kind of crystalline purity as the direct press examples, with just a bit more texture and depth. The "Contact" from Le Fief Noir opens with pronounced aromas of lemon and lime zest against a deeply mineral background before moving to a palate with Chenin's trademark "honied" aspect with pleasant notes of grapefruit pith and wet stone.
Food Pairing
A lovely example of an aperitif orange, the Contact will also do well beside fresh Loire-style goat cheeses, grilled brook trout with lemon and rosemary, or for a southern twist, a fried green tomato with remoulade.
