The Wines...

2024 Berry Althoff Soupçon
Tasting Notes
Laced with the warmth of southern France, the 2024 Berry Althoff Soupçon bursts with crunchy red fruits, wild herbs, and a touch of spice. Syrah lends structure and savory depth, while Cinsault softens the edges with bright cherry and cranberry. The palate is lively and textured, finishing with freshness and quiet complexity.
Food Pairing
A versatile companion to Mediterranean fare. Try it with grilled lamb skewers, lentil stew with herbs, or a Provençal ratatouille. Its balance of fruit and savoriness makes it equally at home alongside roasted poultry or aged cheeses.

2024 Domaine Michel Guignier l'Amethyste Beaujolais
Tasting Notes
Certainly a jewel of a bottle from one of our favorite places for wine on the planet, the Amethyste is dark and structured, with a superb sense of tension between the tannin, the acidity, and the fruit weight of the wine. A sensational example of Gamay from a tried-and-true grower, enjoy with those close to you, and new friends you're looking to impress.
Food Pairing
A darker, tenser Beaujolais like the Amethyst will work brilliantly with more serious fare: venison with a fruit-based reduction, steak au poivre, or coq au vin will all be perfect, along with heartier vegetarian dishes like less spicy curries or pastas.

2021 Château Moulin de Peyronin Bordeaux Rouge
Tasting Notes
A fantastic example of how expressive, true, organic Bordeaux can be, the Moulin de Peyronin opens with distinctive notes of red and black currant, along with just a kiss of vanilla and tobacco, before descending to a palate that's at once rich and refreshing, with the same dark currants along with just a touch of hard, savory herbs.
Food Pairing
An ideal companion for a steak straight off the grill dressed with chimichurri or Maitre d'hotel butter, the Moulin de Peyronin will sing beside basically anything else of the grilled variety, from mushrooms, to eggplant, to pork ribs.
